What makes ender a hero

Ender is hand-picked to be the savior of the human race. However, there are several considerations that Card made when creating Ender that temper his awesomeness with humanity and realistic problems: Ender is a big fish in a big pond. Not only that, but most of the adults in the Battle School are actively working against Ender, throwing up new challenges as they try to mold him into the person they want him to be.

No matter how smart Ender is, he is always, always running into people as smart or smarter than him. Ender is very, very lonely. This is something that Ender struggles with for most of the story, even as he is learning to be a leader and growing past many of his other weaknesses, and it is a very realistic struggle, especially because Ender is a child. Ender completely lacks ego. But Ender is different.

Other people put him in situations where his negative side emerges, but Ender always wishes for events to be resolved without violence.

His compassion is his strongest trait, and it binds people to him; his ruthlessness wins their unswerving faith in him as a commander.

Ender could be seen as a victim, a brilliant child manipulated by adults into playing a game he never wanted to play, but such an explanation is too simplistic. Ender is brilliant enough to understand the manipulation and knows that it is necessary. Ender is a child in name only, and he represents the best that a human being can be, given the context.

There is no part of him that desires control, and when he has it, he wishes only to avoid the abuses that he sees others commit. Characters- Ender - Is the main character and is given that because he is chosen to save the world from the buggers. Peter - He is Enders evil and cruel evil brother. Valentine - She is Enders older sister and is the only person that truly loves him.

Ender Wiggin was an intelligent child specifically selected into the IF with the possibility of being the new commander of the third invasion of the buggers. Ender was on a different path as the other students, the adults of the school wanted a lot out of Ender, which brought tons of emotion out of Ender from the adults, Bonzo, Valentine, and especially Peter.

The book was better than the movie even though the movie could show emotion through a screen I still think it was quite bland and there was more emotion and hardship represented in the book than the movie.

Directly after robotics club and procrastination, my favorite pastime is reading. Starting in elementary school I would pick up a book that intrigued me and read it through without ever setting it down.

My reading habits got worse or better depending on how you look at it once my parents bought me a Kindle and gave me the means to purchase a book whenever I wanted to. Ultimately, my kindle led to some problems at school because I stopped paying attention in class in order to read. Many of the characters in and out of the book and at times even Ender himself had viewed him as a villain.

This is due to the fact that Ender on occassion displayed aggression towards others, though with good intentions.
